Lampugnano station is monitored by CCTV cameras and is accessible to disabled people. The 20 bus arrival and departure bays are mostly covered to allow passengers to pick up their bags in comfort regardless of the weather. The ticket office area measures 260 square metres and also includes a waiting room and bar. There is a multi-storey car park near the Lampugnano station with about 1800 spaces managed by Milan’s ATM public transport company. The bus station also contains a TAXI area.
Bus companies can use the seven 14-metre and thirteen 12-metre bays (20 bays in total) spread over five platforms (four of which are covered) to park and load/unload their passengers. The platforms are marked A, B, C, D and E (from right to left as you drive in). A further six bays are available simply for parking.
Lampugnano bus station opened in 2007 and is run by Autostazioni di Milano S.r.l. The bus station is next to Lampugnano metro station on line M1 (red). Along with Milan San Donato bus station it is the main stop and terminus for all buses departing from or arriving in Milan, on domestic and international routes.
